Signed, folded, delivered – over 300 copies of my tiny booklet have been hand delivered and a video is online. Locals living around Coburg Lake, in the area subdivided as ‘Lake Park Estate’ on the north and east banks of the lake in the 1950s, all recieved a handmade mini-booklet about the history of the lake. Thanks to the UNESCO Melbourne City of Literature Office for commissioning the piece, and to the State Library of Victoria’s wonderful digital image pool, and the Coburg Historical Society for providing images.
The short video clip about the Coburg Lake micro-history project is now viewable, thanks Yasemyn Budak for filming and editing the clip!
